Meet Landon Dean, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound infielder/pitcher from Ware County High School who is uncommitted. Dean is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2023 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: I always eat a handful of skittles in the dugout before the game.

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Atlanta Braves.

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: Five guys burgers and fries.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you? 

A: I don't eat vegetables.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: Ms. Tina Goble -- weight training.

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby? 

A: Football.

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A: Hawaii because I'd like to try and surf there.

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.

A: Max Fried because he's my favorite player.

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My mom because she has supported me in everything I've done to get to where I am today.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I'd like to be an athletic trainer.
