Meet Jackson Thomas, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound first-baseman/pitcher from John Milledge Academy who has is uncommitted. Thomas is a member of the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA) Big 10 cover for the 2023 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: I never chew sunflower seeds in game.

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Atlanta Braves.

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: Steak.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you.

A: I can juggle.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: Mrs. Prestwood and math.

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?

A: Golfing and fishing.

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A: Cancun or any beach with clear water.

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most and why?

A: Greg Maddox because I want to see the way he looked at baseball and what approaches he took.

Q: Who has been the influential person is your life and why?

A: My dad because he has taught me so much about how to get where I want to be when I grow up.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: Physical therapy.
