Meet Cole Bonitatibus, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound pitcher from Tallulah Falls School. Bonitatibus is a member of the GIAA Big 10 cover for the 2025 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.
Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?
A: I do not play a single game or practice where I do not pray before and after.
Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?
A: I am definitely a night owl.
Q: What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
A: My favorite way to spend a weekend if I am not playing baseball is to fish and playing golf.
Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?
A: I can speak Spanish because my roommate is from Panama.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?
A: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Jimenez, and my favorite subject is forensic science.
Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?
A: My favorite thing to do outside of baseball is to play golf with my buddies.
Q: What jersey number do you wear and what reason did you choose that number?
A: I wear number 21. There is no specific reasoning for this other than what my coach gave me.
Q: What do you like the most about playing baseball?
A: I love baseball because the lessons and learning experiences that have come out of it help shape me into a better person on and off the field.
Q: Do you have any pets? If so, talk about them.
A: I live on a farm back home, so we have lots of animals including goats, chickens, and dogs.
Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?
A: I am planning to stay in baseball for as long as possible so after baseball, I would like to be a pitching coach.
