Meet Landon Ludwig, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound pitcher/utility player from Benedictine Military School. Ludwig is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2025 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals do you have?

A: Draw a cross in the dirt. Reminds me why I play.

Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A: Night person. I don’t like waking up.

Q: What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?

A: Always busy so I enjoy relaxing at home.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?

A: I’ve never had soda.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: I like literature and stories. Msg Smith (JROTC) because we talk about baseball. 

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?

A: Volleyball.

Q: What jersey number do you wear and what reason did you choose that number?

A: 10 for my little brother who was born on 10/10 who has special needs.

Q: What do you like the most about playing baseball?

A: Seeing the work paying off.

Q: Do you have any pets? If so, talk about them.

A: No Pets.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: Something international or business.
