Meet Michael Nottleman, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound pitcher from Columbus High School. Nottleman is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2026 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals do you have?

A: I wear the same pair of dollar sign underwear to every home game.

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Atlanta Braves.

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: I love homemade quesadillas.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?

A: I was struck by lightning in my car once.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: Mr. Swinehart. My favorite subject is math.

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?

A: Pickle ball and pool.

Q: What jersey number do you wear and what reason did you choose that number?

A: I chose No. 14 when I was 14 years old.

Q: What do you like the most about playing baseball?

A: Enjoying the time with my friends and the life lessons it gives me.

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?

A: N/A.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I plan to major in either business or finance and become an entrepreneur.
