
Meet Connor Langdon, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound pitcher from Perry High School. Langdon is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2026 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.
Q: What in-game rituals do you have?
A: When I go to the mound, I hop over the foul line. I avoid stepping on the chalk lines.
Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?
A: Atlanta Braves.
Q: What is your favorite food to eat?
A: Steak.
Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?
A: I am an adrenalin junkie. I love roller-coasters and thrill rides, etc. I want to go skydiving and get scuba certified.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?
A: Dr. Gentry and math.
Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?
A: I like to play pickle-ball.
Q: What jersey number do you wear and what reason did you choose that number?
A: No. 40. This was the closest number I could get on my travel ball team to No. 41. I am a fan of Chris Sale and this was the closest I could get to that number. It just stuck after that.
Q: What do you like the most about playing baseball?
A: Competing and winning.
Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
A: My parents. They push me to do my best and have always supported me.
Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?
A: I want to be a PA.
