Q&A with Harrison’s Dominic Stephenson

Meet Dominic Stephenson, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound catcher/outfielder from Harrison High School. Stephenson is a member of the Metro Big 10 cover for the 2025 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals do you have?

A: Before my at-bat, I draw a cross in the dirt for good luck.

Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A: I am a night owl.

Q: What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?

A:  My favorite way to spend a weekend is when I am playing baseball, but when I am not playing, I play video games and rest for the upcoming week.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?

A: People would be surprised to learn that I have a great sense of humor and like to hang out.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: I don’t really have a favorite teacher, but my favorite high school subject would be math.

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?

A: I like to work out even if it wasn’t for baseball and I like to play video games in my free time.

Q: What jersey number do you wear and what reason did you choose that number?

A: I wear 19 because April 19th is my birthday.

Q: What do you like the most about playing baseball?

A: I like to see how far I can hit the baseball.

Q: Do you have any pets? If so, talk about them.

A: I have an Airedale Terrier named Hamilton and he is very affectionate and kind of funny.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I plan to find a career that keeps me around the game of baseball.
