
Meet Carson Adomnik, a 6-foot-6, 200-pound pitcher from South Paulding High School. Adomnik is a member of the North Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2026 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.
Q: What in-game rituals do you have?
A: Every game I pitch, I shuffle down the mound before every warm-up pitch and pray before every inning. When I’m hitting, I always stand outside the on deck circle before going up.
Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?
A: Atlanta Braves.
Q: What is your favorite food to eat?
A: Chicken or steak. I love them both.
Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?
A: People may be surprised to learn that I used to hate pitching growing up and now I am a pitcher.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?
A: My favorite teacher is Mr. Crowdis and my favorite school subject is math.
Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby?
A: My other hobby than baseball is golf, I love playing golf.
Q: What jersey number do you wear and what reason did you choose that number?
A: No. 15 because my birthday is on the 15th.
Q: What do you like the most about playing baseball?
A: It brings out the kid feeling in me every game. And I also love playing with my friends. It’s a noise blocker for me.
Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
A: I would say my dad. He has always been there for me throughout my life always wanting me to get better at baseball and just as a person! My mom has always been there for me also. I couldn’t have done anything without them too.
Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?
A: After baseball, I want to pursue Real Estate or be an architect.
