Meet Trevor Booton, a 6-foot-5, 195-pound pitcher from LaGrange High School who has signed to play at Auburn. Booton is a member of the South Georgia Big 10 cover for the 2023 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: I always tie my cleats the exact same way and walk off the mound the same way.

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Atlanta Braves.

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: I love a steak dinner with a baked potato.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you? 

A: I am a math whiz.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: My favorite teacher is my calculus teacher, Coach Kenny Moore, and math is my favorite subject.

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby? 

A: I love to play golf.

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A: My dream location to travel to is Bora Bora because it sounds very exotic.

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.

A: I would like to meet Donald Trump because I think he is a great businessman and he was a great president.

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My dad and mom because they helped me set goals and learn about life.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: I would like to go to medical school and become a surgeon.
