Meet Connor Crisp, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound pitcher/infielder from Locust Grove High School who has signed to play at Georgia. Crisp is a member of the Metro Atlanta Big 10 cover for the 2023 Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine. Here are 10 questions with him.

Q: What in-game rituals or superstitions do you have?

A: I draw a cross and my number in the dirt by home plate and on the back of the mound.

Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?

A: Los Angeles Angels.

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

A: Grilled chicken.

Q: Name one thing people may be surprised to learn about you? 

A: I was a quarterback who never lost a game.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and what is your favorite high school subject?

A: Mr. Hart, British Literature.

Q: Outside of baseball, what is your next hobby? 

A: Working out.

Q: If you could travel anywhere outside the U.S., what would be your dream location and why?

A: Dubai. It's one of the richest countries in the world and I would love to experience the culture.

Q: Name the person you'd like to meet the most.

A: Mike Trout. He plays the game hard, he has a great attitude and win or lose, he is as good defensively and he is offensively.

Q: Who has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My brother Nolan. He plays the game the right way. He works hard and enjoys the process of becoming great.

Q: After baseball, what career are you planning to pursue?

A: Sports marketing, working to help student-athletes get NIL deals or a sports agent ad I have met many of them over the years. That is a way to stay in the game.
